Hello!

I’m Jamie Haisma. I’m a passionate designer with experience in several areas of ux/ui design such as user flows, wireframing, information architecture and website design. I’m dedicated to my work, always looking for learning opportunities to improve my skills. I would describe myself as an eager, compassionate and open-minded person.
Outside of my professional design work I enjoy exploring more traditional mediums such as linoleum relief, silkscreen printing, and casting sculpture. As a true nerd at heart I'm also a huge sci-fi and fantasy lover. You can find me curled up on the couch with my cat Wishbone with a good book or watching the latest episodes or movies. I also love to travel, learning about folklore and culture has been a life-long interest of mine. I've been lucky enough to travel all over Central and South America. I hope to check Greece or The Netherlands off of my bucket list in a few years.

Education
Central Michigan University - Graphic Design : 2018-2023
In CMU's Graphic Design program I expanded and refined my skills in many areas of design such as web design, branding, print, typography, and motion graphics. I also developed strong communication and team working skills through various group projects such as the 2022 New Venture Competition.
